The date for Yungaburra Market changes in December to the 3rd Sunday of the month to make sure it is well in time for you to grab your Xmas goodies. It is the largest monthly market on the Tablelands and the picturesque town has plenty of other quirky art spaces, cafes and natural attractions nearby to explore.
It is warming up and we are hanging out for the rain ... and luckily for us we know the monsoon will arrive eventually in Tropical North Queensland.
Mareeba Market offers a more rural experience with many small farms offering locally grown produce at bargain prices.
Malanda Market is still quite undiscovered by many tourists but offers a more laidback experience with great fruit and veg bargains and brilliant plant selections for gardeners.
The last 2019 Palm Cove was humming with both locals and tourists. Next year Rotary will be taking over the running of the market form the council. It will recommence in April 2020 and we look forward to their involvement. I am sure as always a walk along the promenade to check out the stalls and enjoy the beautiful beach atmosphere will still be a must-do!
